About Projex

Projex offers architectural design and construction management services for custom homes, additions, and renovations in the Ottawa area. The company was founded by Mike James, and before starting Projex Mike spent over 10 years working for one of Canada’s oldest and most respected custom home builders. With a degree in Architectural Technology, Mike began his career as a custom home designer, and eventually became Vice President of the company before leaving in 2008 having built over 250 custom homes in just over 9 years. During his time as Vice President, Mike also became a huge supporter of energy efficient construction including ENERGY STAR, R2000 and EnviroHome performance levels. That commitment to providing energy efficiency led to the company being recognized by the CMHC and CHBA for a national housing award in 2007.
